We hired Master Lumber to build our custom designed lake home. Our home is considered conventional with log features and half log siding with a lake lodge feel and décor. It took us over a year to find a builder that not only had experience with log homes but could also build it within our budget. Project was to tear down an existing structure and to build a two level 3200 square foot home. Master Builders was very helpful during the design phase. We went through 5 or 6 iterations and each was reviewed by Kent, and very helpful feedback was given. Once settled, the construction was started on time, the build started on time, and was completed when promised. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations. Several times during the course of the construction Kent's workers made recommendations on small items. They certainly did not have to take the time to do this, each suggestion was incorporated, we are happy with all of them, and it demonstrated to me the level of professionalism and care in the workforce. The house was also completed at the quoted price. We've been in the house three years now and are still thrilled with the house and we're happy Kent did the work. One last note, a few years earlier Master Builders put a second story on the detached garage on the property which we were also very satisfied with, so this was our second project with Kent. -- blueheron1
