FAQ

Q. Do you provide estimates?
We provide written estimates for all work. One of our qualified sales representatives or owner will come to your job site to look at your project to provide you a free estimate.

Q. How long is an estimate good for?
Generally we hold prices for 30 days.

Q. Can I get a drawing of the project?
Yes, drawings are provided upon request as part of our design services. Drawing costs are free if the project is built through Master Builders.

Q. Do you have pictures of previous jobs?
Yes, you can view our Photo Gallery just click here  or the choose the Photo Gallery in the menu.

Q. Are you licensed?
Yes, we are licensed to build everything we list in our services list in Minnesota and North Dakota.

Q. Do you have references?
We will gladly provide a contact information list of all major projects that we have performed. Please feel free to contact us.

Q. Are you insured?
Yes, we carry general liability (GL) insurance, workers compensation (workers comp) insurance and commercial auto.

Q. Do you require down payments?
Yes, after we provide you with an estimate and you would like to move forward with your project. We will put together our construction contract. Generally we require a 20% deposit of the cost of the project. As the project progresses we bill monthly for the work completed that month.

Q. Why is it when I get three different estimates that the prices are so different?
Many factors go into pricing a remodeling job. The most obvious is making sure all estimates have the same materials and scope of work. If you cannot understand all the information, go back and ask the contractor for clarification. If you cannot get satisfactory written results, eliminate that contractor from future bidding. Quality of work is hard to show in written estimates and is also a factor in costs. This part of the cost difference is usually only confirmed by calling references and/or visiting jobs the contractor has complete. Check references for work completed years ago to see how their work stands up to the test of time. When a contractor carries all the proper and required licensed and insurances, his prices will be higher than a “fly by night” contractor.

Q. Do you have an office where I can locate you?
Yes, we have a location at 14661 Skrove RD NW, Brandon, MN. It is staffed Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30 p.m. and other times by appointment.

Q: Is having an office helpful?
We think so. We can show you samples of products we use as well as color choices. We also believe it separates us from the “Chuck with a Truck” contractor.
